THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that there will be a long opening for places of worship in the state. The Chief Minister said yesterday that the need to open places of worship will be taken up after the situation has improved. It is difficult to control the number of believers when the shrines are opened. CM said that this would prevent the spread of disease.
“There is still a need to open the shrines in the wake of the lockdown. This may be considered after the situation improves. At the same time, protests against the government stand are widespread. The protests are mounting against negative attitudes towards places of worship despite the opening of liquor shops.
