Islamabad : Pakistan has urged the intervention of the Pope in the  affairs related to the communication ban and current tension prevalent in Kashmir. In the wake of such anti-social practices such as ban over internet, blockage of communication channels and such unethical practices, the country seeks help from the Vatican to abolish the present stress over the Indian state of affairs. Pakistan Human Rights Department, chaired by Minister Shireen Mazari had requested the Holy Father to look into the matters involving peace and harmony. The request was put forward by HRD Minister in front of the Pakistan’s Ambassador of the Holy See, Archbishop Christophe El-Kassis. Following the meeting with the Vatican representative, Mazari tweeted pointing out the agenda of her encounter.

The meeting was fruitful in discussing the issues faced by the christians in Pakistan. Mazari assured the Ambassador that the Pakistan government would lend complete support to those in distress. In her tweet, she recounted that the representative informed about how the Holy Father is concerned about world issues and that she has requested the Pope’s intervention for the same.
