Pala Diocese has decided to observe this 16th March as the day of Fasting and Penance with a special intention to pray for the harmony and peace of the Syro-Malabar Church. His Excellency Bishop Mar Joseph Kallarangatt of Pala diocese invited all the faithful in the diocese to pray for the Church and for the peace of the world and highlighted to observe fasting for the mounting tensions in the Church.
His Grace Bishop Mar Kallarangatt emphasized on the increasing persecutions against Christians in the country and urged the faithful to remember them in their prayers.
