PALA: As part of the Pala diocese SMYM-KCYM COVID counter-defence, the masks, co-ordinated by various units in the diocese, have been handed over to the leadership of the Pala Trader Business Coordination Committee by Bishop Mar Joseph Kallarangat. These will be distributed to all public servants, including police forces, cleaning workers, traders, and staff in the city of Pala.
The young people who were educated through social media and leaflets were also completing mask manufacturing. Seven lakhs have been spent on helping the community with kitchens, as well as hand wash and sanitizer. Bishop commented that what young people do in the early days of the COVID defense was useful and exemplary.
His excellency commemorated the public service and merciful activities of the traders’ businessmen co-ordinating committee and traders. KVVES president and former MP Shri. Vakachan praised the selfless service of the Pala diocese and the youth.
