His Excellency Mar Joseph Perumthottam, Archbishop of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Archeparchy of Changanassery, invited the faithful to be a part in the holiness of the Lord Almighty. His Grace Mar Perumthottam was addressing the faithful gathered at Bharananganam Church during the celebration of the Holy Mass as a part of the Feast of St. Alphonsa.
As reported by deepika.com, His Excellency Mar Perumthottam remarked that “Only by participating in His Holiness, we will be able to regain the light of God in us that we had lost due to our sins. St. Alphonsa always participated in His Holiness and had this ‘will’ to be holy since her childhood. That ‘will’ was given to her by the Lord Almighty and through her sincere participation, she gained knowledge and this knowledge gained from Lord gives us an inspiration and energy to live according to His will.” Further, His Grace added, “Today, the world has got various fake knowledge and information. False propaganda, biased information, wrong and inaccurate data, are all a part of false knowledge.”
Mar Perumthottam concluded his remarks by reminding the faithful to stay connected to truth and pure wisdom and urged them to grow in faith and knowledge like St. Alphonsa.
