Vatican City: Pope announced Sunday to observe the Word of God, to study and share God’s Word today. The President of the Pontifical Council for the Reformation urged church leaders to work out various plans for the diocese and parishes to study the Holy Scriptures today. The Sacrifice and Message will be held at St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City, Ind. Pope Francis will officiate.
Pope Francis has announced in the Moth Proprio (Apatruith Eelis) that the Third Sunday of the Liturgical Order should be celebrated in the Global Church on the Third Sunday. The liturgy in the Latin Church begins the day after the baptism of Jesus, the first Sunday after the feast of Epiphany (January 6). Accordingly, the third Sunday of this year in the Latin Church is January 26th.
