Vatican City: Pope Francis has once again appealed to the global community to pray for Syria and China in the face of insecurity. At the end of the Vatican’s General Assembly speech on Wednesday, February 12, the Pope appealed for the people of Syria and China to speak to the thousands of people who have come to hear him and to the world who hear and see him through the media.
The Pope said he had to pray specifically for the brothers and sisters in China who were suffering from a cruel and unknown disease, and for the relief of the dead and their families. At the public meeting, Pope Francis appealed to all to urge the public to find out the best way to recover from the disease.
Pope also pointed out the extreme conditions in Syria. Families, including children and the elderly, are forced to abandon their home, their home and everything they own in fear of the ongoing war in the Middle East. Syria has been a blood-stained Kuruksalam for years. The pope, therefore, requested that the Syrian people continue to pray for him. Last week, the pope sought the prayers of the global community for both countries.
