Rome: Pope Francis baptizes thirty-two children in the Sistine Chapel of the Vatican The Pope gave the baptism of the baptism of Jesus on Sunday, January 12, to the children of various persons who are associated with the Holy Throne in the Vatican. The pope reminded the believing community that we are giving our children the treasure of the Holy Spirit through baptism and that the child will grow and grow in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Pope also made a remarkable reminder that children should not be disturbed if their children weep in the midst of the Holy Mass. He suggested that parents should help their children to grow in the Holy Spirit. St. John Paul II initiated the tradition of baptism for children in the Sistine Chapel on the day of Jesus’ baptism. This year, 17 boys and 15 girls got lucky.
