Vatican City: Soon after the Pope declares St. Joseph as the patron saint of the universal catholic church, the Year 2021 will be now known as the ‘Year of St. Joseph’. As part of the same, 8 December 2020 to 8 December 2021 will be devoted to the veneration of St. Joseph. In a statement issued by the Vatican Dicastery, the year is expected to promote the values of St. Joseph with a goal that each faithful would follow his selflessness, devotion and the mannerisms in which he lived in favour with God.
