Holy Father Pope Francis, while addressing the faithful in St.Peter’s Square, Rome, conveyed the significance of appealing for moderation and effective dialogue after a surge of violence and killings over Jerusalem’s Temple Mount. Arab man  killed two Israeli policemen that sparked a wave of violence in which three Palestinians were killed in street clashes and a Palestine fatally stabbed three members of an Israeli family.

As reported by Vatican news, His Holiness grieved that “I feel the need to express a heartfelt appeal for moderation and dialogue and I invite all the faithful to join me in prayer so that the Lord may inspire all sides to come together with proposals for reconciliation and peace.”

Palestine accuses Israel of trying to take control over a sacred place and the violence still continues that is creating disturbances in the harmony of peace in both the nations.
