Holy Father Pope Francis had a special greeting for all mothers on 13th May, which is observed as Mothers’ Day in many countries throughout the world. His Holiness Pope Francis appreciated and asked the gathering to applaud for all the mothers for their care, love and efforts in upbringing their families.
As reported by en.vaticannews.va, Holy Father Pope Francis remarked that “Today being the day dedicated to moms in many countries, a round of applause for moms. I want to greet all moms, thanking them for their care of families. I remember, too, the moms who are looking upon us from heaven, and continue to keep us safe with their prayers.”
Holy Father Pope Francis concluded his remarks by noting that Sunday (13th May) is the feast of Our Lady of Fatima. “Let us pray to our heavenly Mom, who today, May 13th, with the title Our Lady of Fatima, helps us to continue the journey.”
