Holy Father Pope Francis expressed his happiness on the constructive visit of His Eminence Cardinal Parolin to Russia. His Lordship Cardinal Parolin reviewed his state visit to Russia and highlighted the issues discussed as yet unresolved between the Holy See and the Russian Federation. His Holiness Pope Francis has expressed his pleasant response to all the possible occasions for dialogue.
As reported by en.radiovaticana.va, His Lordship Cardinal Parolin remarked that “Pope is pleased with the impressions and positive results which I shared with him and as we know, He is very, very attentive to all the possible occasions for dialogue and is very happy when steps forward are made in this direction.” Further, he added, “The meetings in Russia were truly characterized by a cordial, listening and respectful climate and I would define them as important and constructive encounters.”
His Eminence Cardinal Parolin conveyed the significance of his visit to Russia in which the main focus was given to bring up the needs of Catholic Churches, especially the Churches confiscated by the Communist regime to be returned.
