Ahead of Tuesday’s summit in Singapore between the leaders of the United States and North Korea, Holy Father Pope Francis prays for a future of peace on the Korean peninsula and throughout the world. The Pontiff was referring to a meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 12th, in Singapore between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
As reported by Vatican news, Holy Father Pope Francis prayed that the upcoming summit between the leaders of the United States and North Korea “may contribute to the development of a positive path to assure a future of peace on the Korean peninsula and throughout the world.”
His Holiness Pope Francis invited all people around the world to pray for the first meeting between a North Korean leader and a sitting US president.
