Vatican City: Pope Francis is mourning a plane crash near Iran’s capital city of Tehran and a wildfire that is hitting Australia. A total of 176 people died.
Towards the end of the weekly public gathering at the Vatican yesterday, the Vatican called for prayers for the people who are grieving over the drought and wildfires that have plagued the South-East Australian coast. The Pope declared that he was praying for the people who were suffering from the devastation of the fire and the heat and the drought that followed.
