During his 1 hour and 40 minute flight, aboard the special papal Alitalia flight AZ 4000 taking him to Geneva for a one-day-visit, Holy Father Pope Francis wished those present a good day of hard work and described this apostolic journey as “a journey towards unity”.
During his busy day in Geneva he will mark the 70th anniversary of the World Council of Churches and celebrate Mass before returning to the Vatican. As is his custom, His Holiness Pope Francis took time to greet journalists and staff travelling with him on the plane.
