Washington, DC: Donald Trump’s hopeful Easter message is a reminder of the importance of Good Friday and Easter. In a message to the Oval Office on Friday, Trump said: Even though regular communion is not possible this Easter, Trump has reminded him to spend more time praying and thinking in holy times and getting closer to God personally.
Trump has not forgotten to congratulate the scientists, doctors and nurses who have been fighting Corona. Quoting the words of the prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 60: 2), he wished the community a good Easter: “Darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you.” He also thanked those who prayed for him and his family. Trump then called on the announcer, Harry Jackson, for a Trump message.
In his message, Harry said that Good Friday was the darkest day in the Christian faith, but that the resurrection is our victory. His message was to quote passages from the book of Psalms in the Holy Book. He ended his message with a prayer that the President and the United States would bless the name of Jesus Christ.
