LAHORE: Pakistani Christian community has taken a strong asylum in prayer despite the government’s proposal to close down shrines in the Kovid 19 context. This is a picture shared on the Facebook page of Catholics in Pakistan. On the page, there is a picture of believers praying with their hands folded and kneeling outside the church of St. Anthony’s Parish in Karachi.
According to the post, the wall of the shrine has become a “wall of mourning” for the believers. This is a portrait of the zeal of the Christian community in the country. Meanwhile, Corona has confirmed 250 people in Pakistan. The National Bishops’ Council has been leading a week of fasting and prayer in the country against the spread of the virus.
