California: A Catholic priest who shared the Catholic Church’s teaching on homosexuality has been banned by a leading social media- Tik Tok. In a baseless accusation of ‘violation of community guidelines’, Tik Tok, the priest of St. Peter’s Chaldean Cathedral in El Cajon, California, Fr. Simon Eshacki was banned.
“We don’t hate them for being gay. Because homosexuality is against the laws of nature and God. Marriage should always be between a man and a woman. Catholic teaching teaches us to love even homosexuals,” Fr. Simon says in the video released. When someone says that they love, it does not mean that they agree with everything they do, Fr. Simon pointed out. The clergyman video calls for Catholics not to participate in or support LGBT parades.
The video released by Fr. Simon was also impressive. Meanwhile, Tik Tok, which is owned by a Chinese company called Bytedance, has previously blocked the account of Live Action, a leading pro-life organization. The move by Block Talk, which has blocked the accounts of those who have criticized repression against religious minorities in China, has already been widely criticized.
