Poonthura: The priests of the Archdiocese of Thiruvananthapuram are delivering clothes for the residents of Poonthura who are under observation at the SR Medical College in Varkala. The residents had been at the quarantine center for the past five days and were rushed to the hospital for antigen testing and no clothes were taken care of. Fr. Anthony SB, Forane Vicar, and Fr. Joseph Bhasker was thus contacted.
Then at Fr. Joseph’s suggestion, the Latin Archdiocese of Thiruvananthapuram, in collaboration with TSSS, prepared a list of required clothing and personalities. Accordingly, in the afternoon, the priests of Poothura, Mungode, and Anchuthengu parishes in Anchuthengu Forane had gone to a private textile company in Attingal to buy clothes and take them to the medical college.
