His Eminence Cardinal George Alencherry, Major Archbishop of Syro-Malabar Church, while addressing the Catholic Congress of Pala Diocese gathered at Kuravilangad Martha Mariam Major Archiepiscopal Church conveyed that the problems of agricultural sectors should be solved. Mar George Alencherry also reflected on the difficulties faced by the rubber businesses and exhorted that the workers should try to find a solution for the loss faced in agricultural sectors with unity.
As reported by syromalabarchurch.in, Mar George Alencherry remarked that “The government should take immediate actions and solutions on this to help the workers.” His Eminence Cardinal also inaugurated the submission of the petition which is to be sent to the Prime Minister, reminding the authority to help the rubber business workers to solve the crisis.
The meeting was conducted under the guidance of Catholic Congress Diocese President Rajeev Kochuparampil, His Excellency Bishop Mar Joseph Kallarangad of Pala gave the keynote speech, Great Britain Bishop Mar Joseph Srampickal, His Grace Bishop Mar Joseph Pallikkamparamil, Rev. Dr. Joseph Thadathil, Pala Diocese Director Rev. Dr. George Varghese Njarakunnel, Saju Alex, Emmanuel Nidheeri, Jose Vattukulam, were the other dignitaries who addressed the gathering.
