Unidentified persons are found to destroy the crosses in early morning at the Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery  in  Goa.  More than 40 crosses, plaques and gravestones were blotted out in the cemetery. The Congress has asked the government to charge a Central Bureau of Investigation team to find the unsolved vandalisms at religious places in Goa since last few months.

As reported by ucanindia.in, Rupinder Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police said that, “Policemen were posted outside the cemetery and when they heard sounds inside the cemetery, they went in to check and found several crosses, plaques and gravestones, a CCTV camera and an electric light pole damaged.”

The Goa Police have already made a special investigation team in this regard.  This case is considered as the sixth such incident since June 2017.
