His Excellency Mar Leo Cornelio, Archbishop of Bhopal, conveyed that the persecutions and religious conflicts faced by the Christians in Madhya Pradesh, India, are constantly increasing. His Grace Mar Cornelio highlighted that the persecutions against the Christians in the country are increasing day by day and the Christians in the state are suffering in the name of Jesus Christ.
His Grace Mar Cornelio asked the government and the authorities to have a serious concern and to take immediate actions in these cases against the perpetrators. Mar Cornelio also reminded the authorities about the significance of peaceful religious freedom in the country for its development. Mar Cornelio urged the government and the lawmakers to break their silence against such peace-disturbing cases in the country.
