Rome: Nine Cardinals have been appointed to assist Pope Francis in the revival of the Roman Curia. The Vatican released the latest information about the meeting in Santa Marta on February 17-19. Vatican Press Office head Matteo Bruni said in a statement that the Council of Cardinals is now reviewing the draft with regard to the renewal of the Apostolic Doctrine after a careful study of the various departments of the Roman Curia.

The Vatican also stated that the Council of Cardinals will continue its study of matters pertaining to the administration of the Church. This was the 33rd meeting of the 9-member Cardinal Council of Pope’s Advisers on Church Reform. Cardinal Oswald Gracias, Archbishop of Mumbai and President of CBCI, is a member of the nine-member cardinal.
