Thiruvananthapuram: The Principal of St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Pattom, Rev Dr. C. C. John received the National Education Award. The Delhi-based Economic Forum for Health and Educational Growth has awarded the Bharat Shiksha Ratan Award for his contribution to the field of education.
A native of Pathanamthitta, he is a pastor of Malankara Catholic Church. Kuldeep Singh, secretary-general of the association, said the award is based on a number of outstanding achievements he contributed to the school. Rev. John has been in the teaching field for 22 years. Dr. C C John has been the principal of St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Pattom since 2015.
