Lester: Safeguarding of the Syro-Malabar Diocese of Great Britain, G. D. P. R. (General Data Protection Regulation) conference was held in Lester at St. Edwards Parish Hall. Diocesan President Bishop Mar Joseph Srampikal inaugurated the conference. The Chairman of the Safeguarding Commission, Rev. Fr. Dr. Antony Chundelikattu delivered the greeting.
In his inaugural address, Mar Srampikal reminded the attendees that the glory of God lies in protecting others. Mrs. Lijo Ranji and Mr. Paul Anthony led the program. The Vicar General, Rev. Fr. George Thomas Chelakkal, Chancellor Rev. Dr. Mathew Pinakat, Rev. Joanne Feldman, Secretary, and other committee members were present at the conference.
Mrs. Lijo Ranji, representing the Great Britain Syro-Malabar Diocese at the recently held England and Wales Safeguarding National Seminar attended and spoke.
