A relic rally organized by the Kochi unit of Kerala Catholic Youth Movement (KCYM), along with the Family unit Service Committee has started from the Kochi diocesan center on June 4. The rally will conclude at the Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica in Fort Kochi on 15 August.
The rally was inaugurated by Bishop Joseph Kariyil, the Bishop of Kochi. The relics included in the rally are of the Holy Cross, St. Devasahayam, St. Francis Xavier, and Bl. Carlo Acutis. The rally will also commemorate the dedication of the diocese of Kochi to the Holy Cross and the 400th anniversary of St. Francis being declared as the saint.
The relic rally will travel to all the churches in the diocese of Kochi. The screening of the documentary on the life of St. Devasahayam prepared by Kalyan Media Cell, special intercessory prayer, healing service, etc. will also be a part of the rally.
