The 40th session of the KCYM State Committee began at the Animation Center on 19th January which will last till 21st January, 2018. The selection of new party bearers and the inauguration of KCBC youth year will be held in these days. The conference is hosted by Mavelikara Diocese. The assessments of the 32 Catholic dioceses in Kerala will also be evaluated in this committee.
The Metropolitan of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Archdiocese of Changanassery led the opening Holy Mass of the ceremony. The opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency Bishop Dr. Joshua Mar Ignatius of Mavelika Diocese. The State president Pradeep Mathew presided over the function. Kodikkunnil Suresh MP was the chief guest for the event. The State Director Fr. Mathew Jacob Tiruvalil delivered the introductory speech for the function.
On 21st January, the election of the office bearers and the analysis of the action plan will be held. Inauguration of KCYM Youth Year will be officially held at 11 am on the same day. Chairman of the Youth Commission Joseph Mar Thomas Metropolitan will be the chief guest.
