LONDON: The Church of England, the world’s largest Anglican church, has declared its sexuality exclusively for married men and women. This is stated in a note titled ‘Civil Partnerships for Four Sex and Opposite-Sex Couples, A Pastoral Statement from the House of Bishops of the Church of England’.
For Christians, the statement states that marriage is a lasting union of man and woman with sexuality. The chasm between marriage and civil partnerships has become clearer as the church leadership has made its message clear.
