Rome: ‘Cardinal William Allen- Glorious Life’, which aired at Shalom World TV, was selected as the second-best documentary at the internationally acclaimed Rome’s Mirabel Dictu International Catholic Film Festival. This achievement comes from over 1500 entries considered in many parts of the world. ‘Glorious Life’ is a documentary series produced by Shalom World to illustrate the life of the noble ~ personalities in the Catholic Church.
The documentary chronicles the life story of the late Cardinal William Allen, who preserved the Catholic Church in the days of greatest crisis and learning in the history of the Church of England. The documentary, which depicts Cardinal William Allen’s role in reviving the Catholic Church in England, which was devastated by religious persecution, received a large reception from the audience.
This is the 10th edition of the ‘Mirability Dictu’ Award, which was established to honor media and film and documentary makers who highlight moral values and role models. The film, documentary, short film, and TV series will be considered for the award.
