Father Stanely Kozhichira is elected as the President of SIGNIS India during the General Assembly held at DBI Guwahati on 23rd February 2018 for the period from 2018-2022. The Former President of SIGNIS Mr. Sunil Lucas handed over the baton to him in the presence of all the members attending the SIGNIS India General Assembly.
As reported by donboscoindia.com, Father Kozhichira remarked that “I am a street theater artist and hence I make the decision collectively. It is a moment of joy for me. For the first time in the history of SIGNIS India, we have Sister Joeyanna D’Souza, a woman to our team. We will give a new image to SIGNIS India.”
Father Stanley Kozhichira is a diocesan priest from the Archdiocese of Delhi, holds a national record. He has won the prestigious Limca World Record for his Theatrical Production ARS KE KRANTIBAI, the cine drama based on the life of the St John Mary Vianney in 2012 which was acted by priests of the Archdiocese of Delhi. The other members elected are Father Norbert Herman SVD, Vice President, Father Victor Lobo, Secretary and Treasurer, Mr. Nirmal Raj and Sister Joeyanna D’Souza, FSP Project Screening Committee members.
