SIGNIS India, Catholic Association for Communication, has organized its national assembly for this year at Don Bosco Institute, Guwahati, which began today (21st February) and will conclude on 24th February 2018. The theme of the assembly is “Media: Current Trends and Emerging Challenges”. The Assembly began with a prayer song followed by the lighting of the lamp, after which Fr. Johnson Parackal, SDB, Director of DBI (Don Bosco Institute ) addressed the gathering with a welcome speech.
His Excellency Bishop George Palliparambil, of Miao and Chairman of SIGNIS, NE, Mr. Sunila Lucas, President of SIGNIS India, Fr. Jimbert and Group, Fr. VM Thomas, SDB, Sales Provincial and CRI President of India, DBI students, Shri. Ranjit Shekhar Mooshahary, Former Governor of Meghalaya, Fr. Alfonso Elengikal, Secretary of SIGNIS, NE, are attending the assembly.
