Actor Mammootty lauds Sister Doctors’ unselfish service in the hospitality industry. He was speaking after inaugurating the 26th National Seminar of the Sisters/ Doctors Forum of India at the Rajagiri Hospital Auditorium at Aluva Rajagiri Hospital. It is good evidence that virgin doctors are facing many challenges and are determined to provide care among the backward and tribal communities. The Sisters/ Doctors Forum is a group that inspires others beyond their responsibilities. Mammootty said, “They are a ray of hope for those who lack basic health facilities.”
Mammootty also released the Sister Doctors Forum Annual Report. Archbishop Mar Antony presided over the meeting. He said that Sister Doctors is the bridge that cares for those who come before God until they return to God. Archbishop Prakash Mallawarappu, Former Chief Justice Kurian Joseph and Sister Doctors Forum National President Beena Madhavath, Executive Director, Rajagiri Hospital, Fr. Johnson Vazhappilly CMI, Chair Director General Rev Dr. Matthew Abraham, Dr. Anthony Robert Charles, Fr. Julius Arackel, Rev. Fr. Mother Ann Joseph and Sister Alphonse Marie were also present.
Innovative ideas and techniques in the hospitality sector will be covered in a three-day seminar. There will also be discussion classes led by leading doctors in India. More than 200 doctors from twenty states are attending the seminar.
