Bharananganam: The Director-General of the MST Church, Fr. Antony Perumanoor said that Jesus teaches us to rely on God’s providence without despairing when we face problems and crises. He was delivering the message during the Holy Qurbana at St. Alphonsa Pilgrimage Center. We are afraid of catching the coronavirus. St. Alphonsa says that the sufferings we receive are manifestations of God’s providence. St. Alphonsa lived the words of Jesus before us. Suffering can only be meaningful if we love Jesus and combine our suffering with His suffering. He said that St. Alphonsa had shown that there is no need to be afraid of the crises that surround us.
