Syro Malabar Church Internet Mission (SMCIM) has launched a new mobile application developed by the IT wing of the Church, which was inaugurated by His Eminence Cardinal George Alencherry, head of Syro Malabar Church, at Mount St. Thomas in Kakkanad near Kochi. The application will be initially available on Android devices and is aimed to provide easy and accurate access to information regarding Syro Malabar Church.
The newly launched app is expected to enable easy broadcast of events from different parishes and diocese under the Syro Malabar Church. Applications and Information on various parishes and congregations can be downloaded through this mobile application.
The project SMCIM aims at connecting all the Syro Malabar Diocese, institutions, organizations, congregations, families and members of Syro Malabar Church through internet based services.
