Kochi: The 24-news channel’s propaganda about the Syro-Malabar Synod is fake, said the Syro Malabar Media Commission. The media commission said the news of the decision of the Syro-Malabar Congregation Synod was fake news and that the believers and the general public were requested to ignore such fake news. The media commission said the Synod’s decisions in prayer and fellowship will be communicated to believers at the end of the Synod. The Synod will be attended by 57 Archbishops of the Syro-Malabar Church presided over by Major Archbishop Cardinal Mar George Alencherry.
