His Excellency Bishop Mar Mathew Anikuzhikattil of Idukki while addressing the people gathered for the ‘Snehasangamam’ (union) organized by Idukki Diocese Catholic Teachers Guild, conveyed that teachers should be able to recreate the society in a much better way and should actively participate in social, cultural and educational divisions of Idukki, to make the district more developed in every possible way.
The public meeting was held under the guidance of Idukki Diocese Vicar General Msgr Jose Plachikkal. His Excellency John Nellikkunnel, the newly appointed Bishop of Idukki appreciated Mar Mathew Anikuzhikkatil for his powerful and timely decisions taken on the issues of farmers to support them.
Former DGP Alexander Jacob addressed the audience with his keynote speech. The awards for the best teachers and staffs were distributed by His Grace Bishop Mar Mathew Anikuzhikattil.
