Islamic militants searched and shot dead Christians, blocking a bus on Kenya’s northeastern border. 9 Christians were gunned down by terrorists. The International Christian Concern, a charity organization, reported that the terrorist attack took place on the 6th of December when a bus from Nairobi, the African capital of Kenya, went to Mandera. Al-Shabaab terrorist group is believed to be behind the incident.
After the bus was blocked, the militants segregated more than 50 passengers on the bus with Muslims and Christians. The extremists then demanded that the Islamic Faith be presented. Al-Shabaab militants continued to fire at Christians who did not yet practice apostasy. The Mandera Governor condemned the incident. Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta said in a press release that the accused will be brought before the law. There has been a similar attack on Christians in 2018. Two Christians were killed when they were traveling on a bus.
