Kannur: Martina Charles, a 5th grader who excels in violin tricks, is catching everyone’s attention. The sweetness that Martina makes on the violin is beyond words. This little girl on violin playing Christian hymns will amaze anyone. Martina is a fifth-grader student of Edavotti Navjyothi Senior Secondary School. She is the daughter of Charles and Shiny, Kallamplakkal, Madhappurachal.
Martina, who has been practicing the violin for the past three and a half years, has been flashing at several venues. Martina’s father is a keyboardist at the parish church. It is Mother Shiny who is giving full encouragement to this talented student who is studying violin at Raga Institute in Kannur. Martina is practicing the violin under the tutelage of Philip Fernandez, the father of famed singer Sayonora Philip. There is no doubt that the band will be making new strides in the music world and promising new generation music.
