Virginia: Hannah Sainsbury, a teacher in the US state of Virginia, is launching a revolution in the public school libraries. Sainsbury ‘Action Bible’ project is now gaining public attention as it is available in libraries in schools across the country. The Action Bible is shaped like a novel by incorporating Bible stories. Hannah Sainsbury says it was God in her heart who inspired her to donate the Bible to libraries.
She would walk around the school and pray for the Salesbury teachers and the children. One day, she wanted to see Jesus’ name uttered in classrooms and on school vendors. Within a short period of time, the organization founded the Salesbury Bibles in Schools. They provided the Bible with all the pictures and made it attractive to the children. It has since expanded to 18 counties in Virginia and seven states in the United States.
Salesbury says it is the duty of the librarian to accept contributions to public schools, whether it is the Bible, and therefore it is not illegal to make a donation of the Bible. The library is in charge of deciding whether or not to put Bible books on shelves. This is where prayer comes in. At the same time, Hannah Sainsbury’s Bible Revolution has received much acceptance from teachers and children alike.
