THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Archdiocese has handed over a thousand rupees each to the blind, deaf and dumb, the victims of the Oki disaster and the mentally challenged of the Latin diocese of Thiruvananthapuram. Director of Family Services Fr. AR John and Ass. Director Fr. Carvin Roach visited the parishes and paid the money directly to the beneficiaries. The Ministry of Family Services is providing a monthly pension of Rs.1000 / – to 209 disabled persons.
