Buenos Aires: Argentine President Alberto Fernandez has sought the help of clergy to educate people on the street about the possible spread of coronavirus. Seven clergymen, including Bishop Gustavo Carr, announced the decision at a meeting on Wednesday. These clergy will also join government officials in raising awareness among those living on the streets of Argentina in the days ahead. The clergy, who work in isolation on the streets and in other places, are preparing to expand their mission.

The government approached the clergy in order to educate them on the situation in which the residents of the street had to enter quarantine or isolation in order to calculate the spread of the disease. The clergymen gave their full assent. During Wednesday’s meeting, the Argentine president also prayed with his pope, “Father in heaven,” to save the world from the pestilence.
