MOUNT AYRY: Mayor David Rowe of Mount Ayer, North Carolina, United States, has called for a special prayer for the eradication of the epidemic in the wake of the coronary epidemic. In a request released Tuesday, Mayor David Rowe indicated that church churches throughout the city and county should continue to have church bells ringing for two minutes every afternoon.
The mayor said the church bells are meant to serve as a reminder to call upon God against the corona. He urged those who hear the bell to recall the blessings they now experience and pray to God for their own salvation, the city, the county, the state, and the nation.
He said he respects the Constitution and does not seek to mix religion with religion. This is a dangerous time. At the request of the mayor, everyone has the obligation to call on God to fight the virus, as they rally against the corona. Meanwhile, the atheist organization ‘Freedom from Religion Foundation’ has come out against the mayor’s request. Atheists demand that the statement be withdrawn.
