KOCHI: Major Superiors of Congregations have decided to volunteer their work with over 70,000 nuns and nuns with technical expertise in various areas of the Catholic Church. The Kerala Conference of Major Superiors (KCMS) has suggested that in addition to human resources, the institutions of the monastic community should be given the financial and time to fight against this pestilence. The call of the Kerala Catholic Bishops’ Council is being taken up after the hospitals and meditation centers have been set aside for voluntary work.
