Budapest: The International Eucharistic Congress, set for September in Budapest, Hungary has been postponed due to a global crisis following Corona. The decision to postpone the Eucharistic Congress was taken after a meeting between Pope Francis and the Pontifical Committee for the International Eucharistic Congress and the Hungarian National Patriotic Committee.
The congress is also scheduled to be held in 2021 at the Ferenc Puccas Stadium in Budapest. The 52nd International Eucharistic Congress will take place with the motto “All fountains are from you” taken from Psalm 87. The Eucharistic Congress was held in Taiwan in 2019 in preparation for the International Eucharistic Congress.
