The Jagratha Samithi asked the Union government to take immediate steps to protect the lives of the citizens of the country by taking immediate steps to facilitate freight transport through Kasargod and transporting patients to the hospital.
The intervention of the Kerala High Court in this regard has been taken up by the Kerala High Court in this regard. The committee concluded that it was “polite and exemplary”. The committee also stressed the need for the Kerala government to provide the necessary counseling and treatment to the alcoholics in collaboration with various agencies.
