MARAMON: Archbishop Dino Gabriel says that only through Christ-centered ministry can we sow the seeds of goodness to the world. He was delivering the keynote address at the Maramon convention yesterday morning. Believers are called to noble discipleship. The Archbishop added that others can only be attracted to us when we reveal Christ to the world.
Christ is in charge of the ministry. There is no personal stake or participation in this. Christ is proclaimed. The faith community has the responsibility to shine the light we receive from Christ into the world. Believers are worthy of great discipleship. We need to act faithfully. The proclamations should come not from the quality of life, but from the experience of Christ. The Archbishop said that it was a great task for the faith community to spread the word of God to the world.
At a meeting held yesterday afternoon, Rev. Dr. John Samuel and evening Dr. Gevargienus Mar Theodosius Episcopa also preached. The convention will conclude today. During the afternoon meeting, Dr. Joseph Marthoma will deliver the closing message.
