Vatican City: Pope Francis has repeatedly criticized Pope Francis’ position in the book on the issue of Cardinal Sarah’s refusal to compromise on the law of celibacy. Pope Benedict Emeritus wrote about the importance of clergy in Cardinal Sarah’s book From the Depth of Our Hearts: Priesthood, Celebration, and the Crisis of the Catholic Church. However, publishers have named Pope Benedict as the co-author of the book. The secretary of the pope asked the publishers to withdraw it. The English edition of the book is being released by Ignatius Press on February 20th.
