Washington DC: The world remembers the Christian Martyrs who were found dead at the shore of Libya during the surge of ISIS militants who feared Jihad in honor of Islamic faith. The news of the past incidents resurface the media soon after the news of the death of ISIS head Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi hit the screens. In 2015, the ISIS had perform d a mass killing of Christian faithful near a hotel at the shore of the Libyan city, Sirte.
The ISIS had previously released images into the social media of holding the faithful hostage in a particular dress code with hands tied back. All the faithful held hostage back then were beheaded brutally. Theses incidents came into media attention yet again as there are talks of the links of Baghdadi’s link with the beheading. If reports are to be believed, he was the mastermind behind the whole mass killing and attacks over Christians in Libya.
Last week, the US National Military had surrounded the hideout place of Baghdadi in the village of Barisha in Idlib Province of North-west Syria. The operation was named as Kayla Mueller, after the Christian human rights activist who was brutally tortured and killed by the ISIS militants in 2015. It is said that all three sons of Baghdadi were also killed in the operation. He came into public attention after he pronounced himself the ruler of the Iraq-Syria territories seized by the IS militants.
