Thousands of Christians, as well as people from other religious faiths, thronged to St Jerome’s Church in Mapusa, Goa, to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Milagres, on 16th April, 2018. Masses were celebrated inside a pandal outside the church.
As reported by TOI, Fr Henry Falcao, Director of spiritual renewal Centre, Old Goa, remarked that “We need to rise against differences of caste, creed, religion and this can be possible if we keep our gaze above and see eternity.”
In addition to Catholics, faithful of the Hindu religion too came to venerate Our Lady of Miracles and make their offerings of candles and oil.
