Holy Father Pope Francis, while addressing the faithful gathered at St. Peter’s Square, Vatican, for general audience meet, conveyed the significance of having strong Christian hope and reminded the pilgrims to have faith on Jesus Christ, the living hope of the world. His Holiness also emphasized the importance of relationships and vocational calls and asked the faithful to have a deeper-relationship with the Lord Almighty.
As reported by en.radiovaticana.va, Holy Father Pope Francis remarked that “Whether we are called to marriage, consecrated life or priesthood, our vocation finds its origin in our first encounter with Jesus.” Further, His Holiness added, “It is that first spark which, even in the midst of trials, leads to an even- deeper relationship with the Lord and which brings us hope and joy.”
His Holiness concluded the message by asking the faithful to treasure the flame of love that burns in their hearts, by recalling their first encounter with Jesus Christ.
